Managing expectation, remove anxiety


I had a recent talk with a friend of mine, where we talk about the value of expectation.

I do believe expectation was a defense-mechanism created by us thinking animal.

The only way we can defend ourselves was to use our brain, and sometimes our brain deliberately creates expectation to save ourselves from

  1. Danger
  2. Unknown Risk

But what about optimistic expectations?

  1. It was not optimistic expectations but rather hopefulness.
